30 Day Shred - Day 18 and 19!

Oh no! Yesterday was a very busy day and I didn’t have any time to work out! I really wanted to do some Zumba! I think after this 30 Day challenge is over, Thursdays will have to be the one day out of the week that will be my rest days. For the next challenge, P90X, that will work too, provided that I start on a day that lands me rest days on Thursdays. So yeah. I’ll figure that schedule later. Though I didn’t get any work out time in yesterday, I will still up and active during the times I wasn’t sitting in boring classes :)

So, I just finished the belated workout a few minutes ago. On tumblr now before I go shower. Orrrrrr should I break for a few more then do today’s Day 19 workout now or later in the evening? HMMMM. It’s friday and I don’t have any plans for tonight. I’ve got a hot date with the books. I’ll save myself for tomorrow, MY BIRTHDAY :)

Yeah I’ll go workout now. Love you guys, BYEEEE!

30 Day Shred - Day 17

My core is sore from all these days of planks but it’s in a good way :) I really didn’t feel like working out today. I finished class for the day, got home. I really have to do so many readings for 2 classes tomorrow but I thought I’d start with my workout. Working out really helps clear my head. So now I’m ready to study study study for the rest of the evening :) Hope your guys’ days is going/went well today! :)

30 Day Shred - Day 16

Ahhhh. I have a love/hate relationship with planks. I’m leaning more towards hate. Actually, I think I want to see how long I can hold a plank for in good form. I’d say about a minute? Maybe a minute and a half? I’ll have to test this out tomorrow! I absolutely hate lunges. Always have, always will. My quads are super sore, too. Blah. 

I’m getting a new treadmill tomorrow since my current one sucks. It’s still on sale, which is good. I guess those with new years resolutions still have time to pick out their fitness equipment. I’m just glad it’s the perfect time to save $2000 on a really good one for me :)

30 Day Shred - Day 15

Halfway done the 30 day shred challenge! And half way done level 2! YAY. I worked out right when I woke up this morning. My energy levels were pretty high and I slept well, which is great. I may be going to a Zumba class tonight which I’m pretty excited for. I looove Zumbaaa! 

30 Day Shred - Day 14

OHHHHH MA GAAWWWWD! I woke up in so much pain this morning. But the good kind of pain, my friends, DOMS. Gotta love it. Means things are working inside that beautiful body of yours. I don’t think I gave the workout my all, since I did it AFTER I spent like an hour shovelling massive amounts of snow off my gigantic 4 car driveway. That wasn’t fun, especially when the wind was blowing frigid air and snow into my face. So yeah. How many calories does shovelling snow burn anyways? Hmm. 

Anywaaays. Workout done. Not to the best of my ability, but done anyways. I guess it’s better than not doing it at all? Now I have to do some more reading! This semester just started and I’m already wishing it were over. 

30 Day Shred - Day 13

Ohhh boy! Just finished level 2 for today and I am dead. Plank jumping jacks? Not a fan. I think I’m really gonna have to push myself for the next couple days until I get stronger and used to level 2! I could do level 1 in my sleep, haha. I have to say, I love switching things up so this momentary hatred and pain that comes from level 2 will pass! I don’t think I’ll be doing any supplementary workouts today. I have to go shower now, grab a snack, get to my giant homework pile, and going to a friend’s birthday dinner tonight :)

30 Day Shred - Day 11 and 12

So I definitely didn’t get to working out with Jillian yesterday. I could have, but I got busy with school stuff and didn’t really think about it. I just did level 2 this morning, it’s definitely a step up from level one but not impossible. Had to take a couple breaks. Since I missed yesterday workout, I decided I’m going to go ahead, double up, and do it again tonight! That way, I won’t be behind on my days! I’m going to be so sore tomorrow.

30 Day Shred - Day 10

YAY LEVEL 1 COMPLETED TODAY! Finally, I can now move onto level 2 and hopefully not get bored of it as fast as I got bored with level 1. I don’t think I’ve ever fully completed level 1 in the past, so I’m proud of that little accomplishment. Doesn’t feel like it’s been 10 days, feels waaay longer. I really hope there are squats in level 2 because I love them and can never get enough squats. My schedule tomorrow might now allow me to workout all day, so I’ll most likely get shredding around 10pm! 

I hope the next 20 days go by fast because I am so ready to move on to my February challenge: P90X! 

30 Day Shred - Day 9

I’m so tired today. Just got back from class a little bit ago, and now I have like 4 hours until my night class. So I thought I’d take this opportunity to complete day 9 now. Today, I’m glad level one is only like 20 minutes long because I reaaaally didn’t feel like working out today. But I did because I knew I would let myself down and I would regret it later on. 

I think I need to get used to waking up earlier than I have been during winter break. My sleep schedule is so messed up… I need to reset it and do so fast! Ah.

30 Day Shred - Day 8

Day 8 complete! Today’s workout flew by like no other. Downloaded some good music and had that blasting with Jillian on mute… was a good workout haha. I really want to run right now but my treadmill sucks and totally malfunctions now and it’s too cold outside still.. blah. My dad said he’d get me a new one soon though :) Yay. I’m really into Zumba right now, so perhaps I’ll play some of that on my Wii. It’s a fun total-body workout and it doesn’t feel like your exercising. I def feel it in my core the next day, though! 

It’s a good day today. School started today, though I don’t have classes on Mondays or Fridays :) Tuesdays, I go from 10 to 1230, then a night class at 630 til 9, so I’ll have the afternoon to workout. Wednesday, I’ll have mornings and evenings. Thursdays are busy, so I’ll either get up super early to squeeze in a workout or wait til I’m back from another night class at 930. I’m kind of glad my schedule has worked out this way, so I will be able to keep up with my daily workouts, especially when I start P90X in Feb.
